I was going to title this "I Need Help" but I figured that would invite a lot of snarky replies...
As most of you probably know I haven't drawn for some time now. Originally this was because I was transitioning into full time work and trying to then work drawing into my schedule. Soon after, I managed to finally buy a laptop (part tablet) with touch screen ability. I hoped this would help me with my art and the ease/portability in which I draw. There was one thing I did not count on. My preferred drawing program, Macromedia Flash, did not respond well to the touch function. Instead of drawing lines, it thought I was trying to scroll the image. I tried the most current version, Adobe Flash Professional CC, which is basically the same thing except much newer. It had a similar problem, although it would let me draw a bit when the image was centered, scrolling any direction would then cause all the buttons and line-making to become unresponsive.
During this time I have also tried various other programs. None seem suited to the way I draw. I cannot draw smooth lines well. Flash helped compensate for that. I liked all of it's functions. I have asked on the Adobe forum if anyone knows how to fix this problem, but I haven't yet received a reply. On Yahoo Answers, there was no clear answer for when I asked about Macromedia Flash, and I've received no answers to the one about Adobe Flash Pro.
So I ask anyone reading this the following questions:
-Do you know of any solution to my problem that will allow me to use Adobe Flash Pro with my touch screen?
-Do you know of any program similar to it, or any that lets you draw extremely smoothly? (Programs I have tried so far include SAI, Pencil, Inkscape, SmoothDraw, and OpenCanvas)
If anyone can help resolve my problem and it results in me getting back to drawing like before, I will give a free request in reward. Thank you for reading this.
EDIT: Okay, I discovered an apparent fix. However this fix will make it so I can only draw when the tablet screen is docked with the main laptop/keyboard. When I scroll the image, the only way to lock the image back in place so I can draw again, is to click the image with the mouse. Therefore the mouse must be connected (either that, or excessive remove/replace of the tablet). However it doesn't seem to be difficult to draw with the screen in that position. However everything I said above still stands, I'm looking for a total fix for the problem, as well as any program that may work similar but function better than this one.
